Signs of Hope Save THe Date 2024

Join us this summer at Signs of Hope, a benefit for Maine Behavioral Healthcare (MBH), and help increase mental health awareness and reduce the stigam associated with mental illness. MBH and Sheri Boulos are delighted to host this event to raise $175,000, which will support MBH's areas of greatest need. The evening will feature cocktails and heavy hor d'oeuvres, as well as a formal program featuring a speaker who has been touched by MBH services.

As the leading provider of behavioral healthcare in Maine, MBH serves more than 47,000 clients from all corners of the state and New Hampshire annually, including a sizeable amount of MaineCare clients (Maine's Medicaid program). Since MaineCare reimbursement rates fall far below the cost of delivering care, the expense of providing these essential service to everyone in need significantly impacts the MBH budget.

Event proceeds will provide unrestricted support that helps enable MBH to continue offering a complete behavioral and mental healthcare network that includes southern Maine's only private, nonprofit psychiatric hospital as well as community-based services across the state. Helping offset the cost of delivering lifesaving services to our MaineCare clients is one of many ways unrestricted donations through Signs of Hope advance our mission and work.
